“Kraasimages, an up-and-coming Jamaican stock imagery company, was named one of five winners from the 2017 PitchIT Caribbean Challenge.
The five companies were selected from a field of 25 finalists over two days of rigorous pitching to two panels and an audience of regional and global investors. The other winners were: SENSI (Grenada); Nestd (Trinidad & Tobago); Isle&Dine (Barbados); and The Local App (Antigua & Barbuda). Each received US$5,000 as seed money to further fund their business, as well as spots in PitchIT Caribbean business accelerators across the region.
A trained designer and Branson Centre of the Caribbean entrepreneur, CEO of Kraasimages, Staysean Daley, laughingly admits that she started Kraasimages because it is something the region needed and someone had to do it.”
